Casino Royale!
Anyone seen this yet?
Saw it this afternoon. Thought it was good and Craig did the role justice. Nice to see some violence and blood for a change.
There isnt as many stupid gadgets in this film, more true to life, and I think its better for it tbh.
Role on the next movie

Saw it yesterday. Quality. Nice to see they have got away from the super unbelievable special efforts and gone back to some hardcore proper action. Craig was great.

Old bond films were true to Ian Flemming's creation, Connery & his producers more or less did the honours. It started to go astray with Moore, though he suited perfectly the way the films were being taken, i.e, the comedy angle and gadgetry.
Brosnan's films at first did the gadgetry very well, but the comedy was gone ( brosnan was too wooden, he couldn't raise a laugh with a p*ki joke at a BNP convention ), and cheese was order of the day. This then went on to complete bollocks in terms of gadgets, and brosnan became the main stay of the film......what was going on around him, and the story, became a side plot .
Looking forward to seeing this new dude, and how the film goes.
is it just me, or do bond films, and the whole way they are produced change from bond to bond ?

It was mint - well worth the hype. Really good to see it going back to basics. Craig was very good and Green was sexy as hell.
Loved the bit at the start where he got his two kills - the black and white bit was cool apart from the dodgy music.
Also good that a big name didnt do the title track and release it like 5 months in advance. I thought the opening credits were brilliant and very entertaining - just like the old days.
DBS scene could have been longer to appreciate the soundtrack a little more.
Overall job well done IMO and will be buying that on DVD for sure.
