I'd go buy a really nice bottle of red wine and order a curry. Stick on a classic film you've not seen for a while (I don't mean **** at this point ) and relax. Obviously you should beltch, fart and scratch yourself to your hearts content!

Lots of starters off a chinese menu but with a main off a curry menu or is that being too much like a pig.
Turn the surround sound up as well if you have one and watch your favourite action film.

Have a kebab & chips delivered for 7pm, have beer chilling/chilled in the fridge and then bask in the glory that is 'owning' that television remote control for a whole nights worth of man-stylee-tv/food/beer......

will you be rummaging thru the laundry basket for a pair of her used knickers, wearing them on your face like a cowboy robber and knocking one out before going to bed in her nightie??

SOme ideas for you..
Chicken Jambalaya.
Ingredients.
One large onion - Chopped
One large Green pepper - Chopped
Stick of celery - Chopped
3 chicken breasts - Cut in to bit size chunks
Chorizo sausage - Cut into slices/squares - random shapes
400g long grain rice - rinsed
400g Tin of chopped tomatoes
1 litre of chicken stock
For seasoning
Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, chilli flakes, pepper, salt, bay leaves, bouquet garnie (you can buy these in super markets in the spice section - glass jar of tea bag looking things)
Method
-Take the cut up chicken and chorizo, put on a plate and pour over a couple of tablespoons of cooking oil
add paprika, cayenne pepper, salt & pepper and chilli flakes to taste (lots - hot, obviously)
Mix it all up with your hands until all meat is coated with the oily/spicy stuff
-Put the meat into a medium heat large pan (a wok it ideal) and fry until cooked through
-Add the Onion, celery and green pepper and continue to cook until softened.
-Transfer to a large saucepanpan (or if using a wok it can stay where it is) and pour in the tomatoes, the rice and the stock. Add the bay leaves and the bouquet garnie
-Bring to the boil, put a lid on the pan and let simmer until all of the liquid has evaporated and the rice is cooked (just add some more water if the stock evaporates before the rice is cooked)
-Serve
Quick Beef stroganoff
Ingredients.
650g of steak (which steak is up to you - best with fillet)
one large onion - finely sliced
65g unsalted butter
2table spoons of paprika (smoked if you can get it)
300ml (2 small pots) of sour cream
half a lemon
fresh chopped parsely - dried will do
Method
Cut the steak into 5cm long strips about 1cm thick - cut across the grain of the meat so grain on strips looks like this |||||||||| and not like this =========== . Season with salt and pepper
Melt the butter in large frying pan and add the onion and the paprika - cook on a low heat until soft - transfer to a plate
In the same pan add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and turn up heat to full and wait until oil it burning hot. Add half the steak, frying for no longer than a minute or two. Put on a plate and then repeat the process with the other half of the steak.
In a saupan, put the onion and the steak and add the sour cream. cook on a medium heat until warmed through. Add the chopped parsely and at the last moment add a squeeze of lemon juice.
Best served with linguine pasta. But goes well with rice or even chips.
Remember to leave the washing up for the wife when she gets back.
