What do you pay for car tax cos this is odd........
...........just got my re-newal through with 12 months coming in at £175. Anyway, Mother's came through today also for her MY02 Clio 172 and they want £190
What gives???

What age is your Scooby? I've just renewed for my 01 Bugeye and it's £190.
Depending on the year of the car they've started doing it on CO2 emissions now.

I pay 400 quid a year in Holland. Road tax here is based on vehicle weight and a Forester is not a lightweight!

I was really pleased to get my hands on a last of it's type MY00 Classic wagon, then I got the car tax renewal ...
£190 because it was registered in June 2001 and falls into band F

look on your reminder and it quotes CO2 instead of CC. 225 and above is group G..the highest my06 257g/km
