Voting for the next PM
I'm thinking about joining the Labour party briefly so I get to vote for our next PM (anyone but Brown - but then again, he's an electoral liability right now, so I may vote tactically). You can join for £3 per month by direct debit, so won't cost a lot if I time it right.
Anyone else thinking along the same lines?

It would an absolute tragedy of the BNP managed to get a seat - Local council protest votes are one thing, but an actual BNP MP would be a terrible thing.

The Liberals are unelectable, their green nutter enviro tax plans rule them completely out of any equation. Cameron is lining himself up as the perfect Bliar replacement, knowing the public dislike of Brown. Tory policy is so similar to NL now that there is no longer a choice to make. They're all gonna tax us into recession poverty, using the climate argument as leverage. A recent poll by the BBC stated that over 85% of people see it as money grabbing bull$h!t, but when there's no-one else to vote for, what the Hell can we do. UKIP and BNP aren't viable, but I do agree that their presence in Parliament might blow off some cobwebs and make them realise that they are there to represent us, not line their own pockets.

BNP wont do well at all, I might become a labour MP and become PM, at which point I would close the borders to muslims, eastern europeans, somalians and nigerians. It would probably be too late by then though.
