Big Brother Police State almost complete.
It's official. There is now one CCTV camera for every fourteen people in the UK making us the third most monitered population in the world beaten only by the totalitarian regimes of Russia and China.
Once ID cards, DNA databases and Black Box monitoring of all motor vehicle movements are in place in another couple of years, the picture will be almost complete and we will have become the most spied upon society in the World.
Time to get the hell out before it's too late.

It's 1 camera for ever 12 people. We ARE the most spied on in the world.
Read below.
Demand is growing for a debate on the number of CCTV cameras in Britain as figures reveal that 20% of the world's spy cameras are in the UK - one for every 12 people. It makes Britons the most spied on people anywhere on the globe.
Information commissioner Richard Thomas has warned the UK is in danger of turning into a Big Brother society.
He says more and more personal data is being collected on all of us by the state and big business.
A report ordered by his office found most techniques used to survey the UK public are automated and out of sight.
They include surveillance of international travel, consumer spending, internet use and mobile phones.
Some of this benefits the typical UK family, but it can be "personally threatening" and has wider consequences, the report warns.
It says surveillance can lead to the loss of individuals' anonymity and privacy in different areas of their lives.
The report, produced by a group of academics, predicts that by 2016 surveillance will be ramped up even more.
Shoppers may be scanned as they enter stores, while schools could bring in cards allowing parents to monitor what their children eat.
On the plus side, Mr Thomas said surveillance could help fight terrorism and crime and improve access to public services.
But he added: "As ever-more information is collected, shared and used it intrudes into our private space.
"Mistakes can also easily be made with serious consequences - mistaken identity, inaccurate facts or inferences and breaches of security."

Also I saw that the State is going to have a new national survey soon where you will be compelled to tell them how much you earn and how many times a week you have sex with your partner among other things...
Not to mention the soon to be introduced laws giving council workers the right to come into your house and poke about to see what you've got, backed up by 1000 pound fines for refusing them entry.

I only earn the Minimum wage. At least that's what I'll be putting down.

I will tell them nothing

The problem is that the British public just comply with this sort of thing.
These sort of schemes, ID cards, DNA databases etc etc only work if there is a only small minority willing to defy the law.
If you have mass civil disobedience, then the law gets changed. It doesn't have to be violence, as seen with the poll tax riots, all it has to be is a refusal to co-operate.
You see it in France all the time - It the government passes an unpoplualr law, people simply refuse to accept it - and the law gets changed.
Governments are in place to represent the wishes of the people, not the other way round - something this government forgot a long time ago.
Unfortunatly it is not in the British psyche to disobey.

What is worrying is the large numbers of people who don't even realise what is happening. They just don't know the significance of the Orwellian state which is being laid down bit by bit and usually resort to the grand get out clause about not having anything to fear if you don't do anything wrong.
The main point is however that if you are a law abiding individual then your "human rights" are of no consequence compared to those of the criminal. Added to that, if Crims are caught by all this "so necessary" spying technology and data retention, they are patted on the head and if they say sorry they are sent home and asked not to do it again. They are just laughing at this pitiful pretence at PC authority!
