Trick or Treat OR Demanding Money with Menaces?

When he was younger and shorter my stepson used to answer the door, and tell them that he was in on his own and we'd left him nothing to give out Afterwards me & him would share out the sweets his numptie mother always bought
He's too big now, plus MrsD's cottoned on (finally) and stays around to give the sweets out herself

I had a fright a few years ago when 3 teenagers (or maybe even older) turned up with scream masks on demanding money. I said I didn't have any on me and the reply was "you've got a scoob on the driveway mate, just give us that"!!!
Just as I got hold of my baseball bat, the police arrived - it turned out they had harrassed a few of my neighbours and one of them had become frightened so they decided to dial 999.
Personally, I fecking hate trick or treaters - I'd never heard of it when I was younger.

I don't mind the little ones that come round with their parents... they get a handful of choccy... but once they get past the age of about 10 or 11, they seem to think that you SHOULD give them what they ask for.
Had a couple of 10 year olds round last night... friends of my youngest daughter... they asked for a penny for halloween.... surely it should be a penny for the guy?
I gave the two girls 20p each... asked my daughter to give it to them... as soon as they knew it was money... all I could hear was " how much is it?"... maybe I should have taken the 20p's back and gave them what they asked for... a penny !!!!!!!
I also have a window that opens right above my front door... me thinks I might keep a jug of water up there tonight and let it 'rain' down on them

we live on big estate of mainly youngish families, last hear we had a big skeleton in the tree and some pumpkins and a bit of police type tape all over the doors and windows saying "keep put haunted house" this year i have made a tunnel along and over the path to the front door out of bamboo kanes and covered it in about 10 bags of that plastic spiders web, i also have a 2.4 metre spider on the opening they have to walk under!
its usually good natured by us and we have 4 big party bags of sweets, minus 4 days worth of me pinching them!
we do however have a neighbourhood Graham, a middle aged bloke who everyone know, and he doesnt sleep, he stays up all night keeping an eye on the 15/15 year old trying to take the **** and tells em to **** off!

I remember about 12 years ago my uncle decided to pretend no one was in and turned the lights off. The local trick and treating mafia were wise to him though and went around the back of his house and stuck his hose pipe through the back door. It was about an hour before he noticed,by which time his kitchen was swimming in 4 inches of water

We usually carve out a couple of pumpkins, and dish out sweets but this year I really can't be foofed.
We had quite a few kids last year- mostly 12years+ though. It might just be me, but thats too old for trick or treating.. the little ones are sweet all dressed up, and are honestly excited by the whole experience.
Boys with their hoodies on, deserve **** all - but my car & the scoob will be parked away from the house just in case

little gits, we spent about £30 on sweets for them all and nobody came next year we didnt bother and the door bell never stopped ringing, think the pub might be a worthy retreat.
