Charity for old PC bits
Does anyone know of a charity in the south east that can either make use of or redistributes old pc bits like drives, cd roms, printers etc?

It's not a lot of stuff, just a few bits I've got kicking around but I'd rather they went somewhere they would be used rather than in a skip or on ebay for pennies.
I'm sure I read about somewhere that used kit and built lower spec PCs for churches and schools etc but can't find where it was.

Hello
You could try here: The Freecycle Network(tm) - Changing the world, one gift at a time.. I have got rid of some things to grateful people and also picked up a Zip drive to see what was on those 100mb Zip disks kicjing around my office.

Nah, not if you wipe it properly. I've got access to proper tools for disk drives so no worries there.
