I watched Dead mans shoes the other night and really enjoyed it (if you can "enjoy" that sort of thing).

When is this film out?

Films out in cinema's late march. Should have been out already but they delayed it to meet with the BAFTA awards next year.

Just come back from Rome Film Festival and it did really well out there, so hopfully it'll do well in the london film festival next week.

IMDB flags it as a good film, so you'll be getting some of my cash from the sale of the DVD when it comes out, too!

The good thing about This Is England is their has'nt been a lot of films like this one , and the few their has been have been really successful... Hopefully it will do exactly what you said hectic, and remind people of their own youth.

Hope you lot enjoy it when it gets realised, wont be to everyone's taste but it's definetly worth a watch... Not your usual hollywood crap

much prefer 'proper' films those that are true to their values.. rather than the big hollywood types.. last film i actually 'enjoyed in that sense was Football factory. Again, because it reminded me of growing up.. travalling the lenth and breadth of the country following my beloved footy team through thick and thin (and of course , the ocasional 'rucks' )
