im trying to find an instruction manual for a potterton ep2001 programmer
or does any one know how it works so i can program the hot water and central heating separately as i can only seem to put one time in for both systems.

or does anyone know if the front part of a 2002 programmer will fit directly on to back plate of the 2001.

It's not unusual to have to have the hot water on with the heating. Usually you can isolate so you only have hot water, but not usually the other way round and it's usually done by a separate "master" switch.

Is that model number the timer itself or the boiler? Our Baxi Potterton boiler has a Grasslin timer. Their website has all the manuals in PDF format.

it's the model no. on the front of the programmer just can't find a manual anywhere.
