Question

I use a laptop a fair bit and need an ISP who will allow dial-up access, particularly to POP and STMP servers, regardless of where the connection comes from. My current ISP (talkgas) checks the number that the connection is being made from and won't allow access unless it is my home number. The real pain is not being able to send mail via STMP I can collect mail from pop.talkgas and access the web through the proxy at work but have no access to stmp.talkgas server.
Be grateful for any ideas.

Can't help you myself, but someone over on http://www.net4nowt.com could probably help you.
