Question Tomtom One GPS

Has anyone got the new tomtom one ?

Is it good ?

Do you have to activate it with a computer or anything ?

Just bought one for my dad, its excellent!! Really simple to use (even my old man is ok with it). You do not need to connect it to a PC, that is unless you want to sort get the speed cameras put on and subscribed to

I must say my Tom Tom is good, BUT the website is so crap its just unbelievable. So when you come to upgrade or download a map its dire really dire.

You can install a bit of software on your PC that sorts all the downloads for you now, but I agree about the website and support - its crap.

They do look good, far better than the Go series IMHO. It fits in your top pocket and has a 2 hour battery life if you don't want to plug it into the cig lighter

The new Snooper GPS/Camera detector with a 4" screen looks pretty good too.
