Default Barclays Connect and green flag cover

it has always "niggled" me that i get this free with my account, and i have no idea who it works.

i am paying for AA recovery when i get green flag cover for free, but i never received any paperwork regarding the free green flag cover, i also have no idea how i would call out greenflag in the event of a problem as i never received a card or anything either.

anybody use the free cover?

With Green Flag cover through Barclays Additions Plus account, you just need to ring Green Flag on 0800 0510645 and give them your policy number. Your policy number is the combination of your sort code and account number.
That's what Barclay told me.
I have not used them yet, though.

I get AA cover with my Lloyds TSB account. Then I got swindled by Norwich union when I renewed my insurance to take their breakdown cover out.

Lowered my policy by about £40 but when I worked out cost's about £90. And it doesnt cover very much.

fired an email off to greenflag, will see what they say......

had nothing but trouble with the AA to be honest, might as well stop paying them cash every month if i am getting free cover from GF

all i want is the car recoverd from a break down, i dont need no gimp in a bright coat telling me he can fix it with a hammer, if it breaks down and its fixable ill fix it, if its not it gets recoverd

Basic.

Barclays did ring me to ask if I wanted advanced cover by paying 3 quid extra every month. I agreed.
Basically, you are automatically covered if you have Additions Plus account. About 3 years ago, you would have had to ring Green Flag to start free cover, telling them thet you hold Additions Plus account with Barclays. Not any more. Just carry the phone no. of Green Flag in your car with your sort code+ account no. on your mind. If you break down, just give Green Flag a ring
That's what Barclays told me a year ago.I consider myself covered. I have no other cover either.Check it with Barclays again, SM.
