Default Wheeler Dealers - Corvette

Maybe I'm missing something but, I don't recall a gearbox change, the US exhaust system was about £300 (+£250 import and carriage) and the dash was a £90 refurb job.

Wheeler dealers paid £2100 for it and spent another grand IIRC, didn't see what he got for it, but on past record I should reckon about £3200.

They got £3800 for it. Seem to recall the dash parts were only £200 and the exhaust was circa £350. If Ed China put a new 'box in it, they didnt mention it in the program.

So the guy who wrote the ad. is full of crap.

I was surprised they bought such a heap in the first place. Last week's Beamer was in much better nick and actually worth restoring!

Yup, totally.

I've always wondered why Ed China wears those t-shirts with the long-sleeve things underneath. Tatoo's or scars he doesn't want shown? Or just habit?

I've also noticed in the end credits one of the thanks is to Subaru (I assume for the use of the Legacy that Mike B tools about in) but also High & Mighty - this where they get Ed's clothes?

I don't think Brewer has let him out of that workshop since the early 90's. He was wearnig a Pop Will Eat Itself t-shirt in one programme!

I dunno Brewer always comes back with sheds and Ed always does a top job.

They never make any cash because they never factor in Eds labour costs, if they did that they would lose every deal, still I like to watch it anyway!

Until he sprays an entire front wing with aerosol (capri)

Anyone worth any salt in the bodyshop business would tell you straight that you cannot properly match silver/blue with celly paint from an aerosol can. And even if it did, the pigment dispersion would be all wrong.

Anhoo wtf did he put a cat back on the Corvette when it doesn't need one (Its pre-1992 and its not in California anymore). Would have been cheaper to leave it out. Unless lentil munchers run the show.

Seller ofthe corvette is a Tool....he can't even type without turning off teh Caps lock. (I never buy anything off Ebay that is all in capitals )

edit: arrgh Avon ZZ1 tyres I'm amazed it hasn't found a hedge by now
