Looking remarkably chipper too. Sitting up smiling broadly.

Great to see.

Face it, Hammonds crash really wasn't that bad. The speed makes it sound bad, the media make it sound bad and the Scoobynet Sympathy Bandwagon (TM) ensures the weak minded get carried away with themselves but at the end of the day he bumped his head and spent a week in hospital.

My gran stayed longer when she had her bunions removed ffs.

Suspect what you want dip-****. It doesn't change the fact that it wasn't as bad a crash as everyone on here seems to think.

There are people out there who have battled all their lives against medical adversity and they don't get a jot of recognition. Now I like Top Gear and Hammond as much as the next person (ok, maybe I don't like him as much as some of the freaks on here seem to) but the way you people have been carrying on you'd think he'd just overcome decapitation or something.

Now unless you have an arguement against these facts, and by facts I mean, for example:

Fact: he had a bump on the head and spent a week in hospital
Fact: you try too hard to be funny on scoobynet

then zip it.

Alright then, I'll bite.

Fact 3: It was a crash at 300mph,
Fact 4: He came to rest upside down,
Fact 5: His head was embedded in the ground,
Fact 6: You're a **** troll,
Fact 7: Not to mention a helmet,
Fact 8: I'm smiling because I'm not you.

Now if you have nothing contructive to add to this thread then do everyone a favour and do one.

Congratulations Astraboy

You've won the Scoobynet 2006 Award for funniest insult of the year.

You're entry, Fact 7: Not to mention a helmet was a clear winner -

And yet he was fine. Lucky maybe but fine. So you should all pull yourselves together and maybe direct some of your misplaced (and frankly nauseating) hero worship towards people who are genuinely ill and have to fight for their survival.

You are lucky people like me can maintain some perspective or you'd have no one to hold your feet on the ground every time the media, government etc decides they want to manipulate you.... herds of sheep that you are.

Why do you all do it anyway? It's one thing enjoying a light hearted tv programme but it's quite another rushing to be the first to post 'Hammond has had his first post accident p1ss' and the like.

Does it make you feel 'part' of Top Gear? One of the team? Richard Hammond doesn't know you from Adam and couldn't give a flying **** about your well being. In fact, I suspect neither Hammond or Clarkson even speak to your average Subaru owners other than to make idiots of them on national television!

Fortunately my day doesn't revolve around trying to please you then.

Now do you have anything on topic to say for yourself or are you going to continue to cry because I have brought your hero worship bubble back to earth with a bump?

Was this serious car crash you had, at 280mph????? No

Different people react differently to different situations. He was confused after having his brain smash against his scull, and therefore panicked, like most people would.

Most people that is except you, eh? You'd have been out of the car trying to have a fight, while blaming someone else.
If you'd been trying to get to the bloke you say that you blamed for the crash, then I'd suggest it wasn't that serious a car crash.

Must be great being soo hard.

Edited to say : Hamster still is in hospital, he's just been moved to a hospital closer to his family. Suppose he's a soft tw@t for wanting that to.
