converting jpegs to gifs?
Ok so this should be in the 'puter section but Im in a hurry
I thought I could convert a jpeg into a gif file in photoshop but dont seem to have the option - not had to do this for ages so maybe missing something?
Any help out there?

Photoshop should be "export" then save as any file extension you want.

Open pic and "save as" - you should be able to select what you want to save it as there

Sorry I dont understand what you mean about export and I dont have Paint - i think i got rid of it

Thats what I thought but gif isnt an option??? Ive got eps, pdf, psd, tiff, jpeg etc (sct and Raw as well but dont know what they are)

Since you lot who answered Brum's plea for help are all a bit thick when it comes to this sort of thing, I will help you all out.
You cant change a JPEG into a Gif if CMYK is the file format.
Change to RGB and then you can save into other formats.
everyone understand now ???
