Anyone know about fridges??
Was given a J20 drinks fridge, made by 'carrier' , by the bar i work at, very handy to have, but recently its started to Buzz every few minutes, quite loudly? Buzzing seems to be getting more frequent too
Is it low on gas or something??
it's definately a purposeful buzz and just not a random noise...
TIA

Are you sure its not the compressor firing up on it? That could be considered a buzz! Or maybe even the fan motor? How old is it? I doubt its low on gas, domestic units last for years and years before a recharge. I wouldnt worry about it......

sounds like it may be the compressor. is it getting hot? ie you have left it far enough away from the wall for air to circulate around the back haven't you?

its quite close to a wall, i'll try moving it out a bit, sounds like a noise meant to tell you something rather than a noise that has been caused by something (if you know what i mean..?)
not a domestic fridge though, was in a bar up untill a few months ago...
def not a noise its supposed to make during normal operation..

commercial fridges can be noisy in my experience (although that may just be because the one i've seen are knackered!). i think they tend to work harder as they are usually opened more often than a domestic fridge. did you borrow it from d-tapas or d-place or somwhere? lol. it may just be on its way out if its a few years old
see what moving it away from the wall does. might have no affect at all, but at least you will have tried
