I don't think that site's quite right. My old Ash tray had 11 previous owners before me. I sold it to my bro in law in 2000 (who had it written off in 2001), but the site said it's had 8 owners and last sold in 1998

Odd, can't seem to enter my old plates correctly; seems to work okay with the new style.

For example, JPE 207V doesn't work (my first car).

Maybe if they've been scrapped there are no records?

That's a crying shame, my old Beetle VRA *** K is not coming back. Damn thing was completely rebuilt by the time I'd finished. Sold it about 15 years ago now. Mind you it was a tad skitish in the wet with an upgrade from a 1300 to a tweaked 1600

If your car doesnt show up - is it possible because its not taxed?

Would be well pissed off if I though my last Impreza has gone to heaven, as it was one of the first STI's ever made. I spent loads on it as well.

Tried some cars I know are gone to heaven with no return, and one I thought had gone still shows as running about - worryingly!

Oh, just noticed if car has gone private plate since you last had it, it wont show up either...... theres hope LOL!! Er i mean the plate when you had it doesnt show anything, but the new one does.
