Default Tories spend £40k on....

this

Designers were paid £40,000 to replace the traditional torch emblem with an image representing "strength, endurance, renewal and growth".

Looks like labour will be in again if this is the best the tories can manage.

40k buys a lot of man hours, even for design types. That logo looks like it took 5 mins with some crayola crayons......

A logo is meant to convey the principles and ethos of an organisation, a scribbled tree is not what I would associate with the leader of our country, in fact the old Tory logo in my opinion did exactly that. It had definition and purpose of strength.

Even some Tories dont like it!

It's so eighties - like Budgens design with a few colour splashes......

I'd have done them a good old brown envelope

For Labour I'd do a sort of Nelson's column type thing with Blair in uniform on top and a smiling pigeon with a Gordon Brown face sitting on his head ****ting on him.

For Libs I'd do an old man in a wheelchair being pushed by a load of camp..... Don't get me started

Apparently, according to an expert 'inside source' close to the Tory Leadership ......

......... the emblem came about by a disgruntled Tory scribbling '******' in front of the word CONSEVATIVES - giving the general feeling throughout the country as '****** CONSERVATIVES'

An accurate description - but - David Cameron came along and scribbled over the word ****** with a green crayon ..........

......... the effect was so attractive to his supporters that it was adopted as their new emblem

Ask the next Tory you see whether the word ****** is hidden under the green scribble - if they say no then they are a lying scumbag and should NOT be voted for!

The original logo was a good one and this latest attempt is a load of highly expensive rubbish.

I am both a consumer and voter thus the target of such marketing which makes me (and everyone else) fully qualified to comment. Design is a matter of opinion not statement.

So in short, yes I am qualified to speak. I dont like it.

but you are 1 person amongst millions, its what the general public think as a whole, not just one person, the conservatives NEED the younger peoples votes, and they wont get them while there seen as a stuffy old group IMO

i ****en hate politics for what its worth, but i can see exactly what they are trying to achieve here.

Dave
that is not true, its also used when they want to "shift" there balance of clients in a new direction, the company that own my carwash franchise wanted to move the percentages of male/female users to a 50/50 split from a 75male/25female split, this was achieved through re branding and updating the logo from the typical IMO to what is now known in the Uk as ARC

the buildings were all "updated" in appearance to help draw in more females, and it worked.

yes granted there was probably a few people out there that thought "yea its crap, there going down hill" and so forth but sometimes change just has to happen to get the results your after

The clockwork chameleon just seems to come out with statements that are far from what we want to hear. When it comes to an election he will get a nasty shock if these are all the policies he can think of.

About time we had a real leader who is not scared to hammer NL for their rubbish attempt at governing and their efforts in doing away with Great Britain.
