If it's the same person I'm thinking of, unfortunately, his "roots" are Bradford or Leeds according to the programme. Personally, I think he's more of a threat as a "not a suicide bomber". Suicide bomber goes "bang", world dismisses him as a rogue element. Some twisted, evil, fat fscker has to indoctrinate people into committing these acts though. He's not exactly doing his bit to moderate the situation, is he....

I feel we're now on the horns of a dilemma (sp?).
- We have a large number of "not well integrated into British society" people of non-European ethnic background, whom we welcomed with open-arms to rebuild our country and invited to stay (well HMG did...!?).
- We have a special relationship with USA which means we're the "sidekick kid" whenever USA wants to have hit someone.

I don't see how the two can easily be reconciled.

Certainly, I think aspects of British society suck. The drink, fight, fsck, Friday night culture,for one. The magpie like nicking of attractive ideas from all around the world without paying attention to the downsides or responsibilities, for another...

I blame the banks for making credit easy, actually... !
