Dont get a PSP, they are no-where near as good for game play action. Crap selection of games i thought and its not as much fun as the nintendo. The nintendo is a games device, the PSP is a multimedia device!
Nintendo are thrashing sony in the DS vs PSP war. That surely tells you something!

Figures speak for themselves (Around 10million lol)
Oh and dont get a nintendo DS, get the DS lite version! Better, smaller, and better screen brightness!

How do these cards work steve? I take it they are illegal?
How do you get the games onto the card? Do you buy them pre-installed from a dodgy e-bayer or can you buy them in shops?
£30 a game is a pain in the ****, liking the sound of these game cards though

Hello
The DS Lite is superb. My daughter (and I!) enjoy playing the games.
You don't need to flash your DS as mentioned above to get the Supercard to work, there is something called 'Superkey' that plugs into the cartridge port.
Are they illegal? No. Is downloading Roms from Bit Torrent and using them? Yes.

Thanks for all the advice guys.
Re the PSP, for one, its a lot more expensive, and also my son really has his heart set on the DS, he just wants to play MArio Kart against Daddy! The games on DS are a lot more 'little-kid friendly' too, like mario, nintendogs etc rather than GTA and the likes on PSP. Plus he has a ton of games for the GBA SP which i beleive he can still play on it?
I love the sound of this flashing thing, where/how do you download the games? ANd what exactly would i need to get and where from? Sorry for all the questions, i used to be so 'up' on gaming, feel like its all just going straight over my head now, must be getting old!

Hello Clare
Yes, you can play GBA SP games by plugging them in the bottom of the DS Lite. You need:
http://www.cheapmod.net/item--Super-Key--superkey
http://www.cheapmod.net/item--SuperC...-supercardlite
Apart from the games, I use the Supercard as a movie player.

Clare.... PSP currently retails at around £150
DS Lite currently retails at £100
So not that much of a difference in price.
Do not get a nintendo DS, your son will only be dissapointed as the nintendo DS lite is so much better. Look at the video 4 above ^^^
£100 is still very cheap for a games console

Then you plug the other (bottom link) into the GBA port? The cartridge in the top slot will allow the device to read whatevers in the GBA's slot?
Is this right?
I wonder if anyone sells these cards allready ''fully loaded'' up with all the DS games, it would save a lot of time and hassle.

Yes, that is right. As mentioned above it is illegal to use Nintendo ROMS on these devices. You can load movies, homebrew games, emulators quite legally.
