LG TV and Sumsung DVD - Upscaling DVD resolution issues.
I have an LG RZ32LZ55 32" LCD TV that is connected to a Samsung DVD860 Upscaling DVD player.
The two are connected via a Philips HDMI to DVI cable
The TV spec says it will take anything up to 1080i
The DVD player has both manual and automatic resolution options.
However, no matter what I try, the TV screen goes blank when I try and use anything but the lowest level resolution.
I have tried leaving the DVD player on "auto" and tried choosing a resolution manually - but with no success.
