Lost Season 2 Finale
watched the final 2 episodes of Lost Season 2 last night, cracking ending to a series thats got gradually much better and very much stranger
My previous theory that they all died in the plane crash, has apparently been put to JJ Abrams who rejected the idea stating the whole plot has been layed out already, including the end and the 'they all died in the crash' theory is not correct.
So, anyone got any other theories that ties in everything thats happened?

I'd heard a rumour that up to 10 seasons had been planned, not sure how accurate it is, or how many have been pre-bought as yet

The first 2 havent been shown in the us yet, and the premiere is on the 4th October, not 27th Sept.

Season 3 will begin airing in the United States and Canada on October 4, 2006, and will feature 23 episodes that will be delivered in two blocks: an initial autumn arc of six episodes and a second run of seventeen consecutive episodes beginning in February 2007.
The story will continue 65 days after the crash, and will focus on the Others (as led by "Henry Gale") and their history, ranks, and goals.
The audience will meet more survivors of the plane crash as new characters in the third season, and their flashbacks will be featured as a unique and central component of the series (those of existing cast members will accordingly be fewer than in previous seasons) Production on Season 3 started on August 4, 2006.
