Well it was a chunk of Parmesan cheese just hoping their life time guarantee covers such things!

I was just cutting the rind of a chunk or Parmesan, got half way though and heard this grating metal noise, lifted the knife and there was a chunk missing, the other bit was still embedded in the cheese!
