Whats the real rate of inflation?.....
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/mai...16/cncpi16.xml
Apparently inflation fell from 2.5% to 2.4% last month despite massive increases in gas, electricity, petrol, food, council tax etc etc...
Many economists are saying the real rate of inflation is 10% for working people, and that would sound about right.
The "fake" official figure allows interest rates to be kept low, fuelling borrowing and house price rises which in turn fuels consumer spending, but surely the real increase in cost of living will start to bite soon?....
My outgoings have increased hugely in the last couple of years as I spend a fair bit on petrol
