Green nutters are a friendly bunch
While the police are lifting anyone who looks slightly Arab and shooting people who get on the tube they allow this sort of thing to go on every day because, in the eyes of the current administration, it wouldn't be very PC to stop it:

Anglers get on my fruit..there I am pegging it down the tow path and some dozy fisher has his rod strewn across the path.

Say the same gang had attacked a Mosque or a gay pride march, what would the police reaction have been then? What would the press coverage have been like? Because we now have an urban-centric administration who, quite literally, hate the peasants and the things they get up to in the countryside attacks upon them are tolerated and are certainly not "priority crimes." As yourself what that says for the rule of law and order when the state is happy for armed gangs of thugs to attack certain people in our society while a similar attack upon certain other groups would be headline news for several days and the state would jump into action to deal with those involved. Hardly a free and democratic country is it?

bunch of ****ing idiots who are too stupid to realise banning fox hunting was the first step in eroding our freedom. fishing next, followed by car choice followed by chip and pin registration for all new births. *******.
the real irony is anglers have been responsible for the protection and improvement of hundreds of miles of river\canal banks. the vast majority care for the well being of their quarry and understand far more about fishes physiology and treat them with respect.
Anyways, I don’t want to get embroiled in this so as a long-time fisherman I’m off to bludgeon some seal pups and drink their blood.
