I am actually all for charcoal . . .Gas seems very superficial, and deprives you of that primeval satisfaction during the cooking process imho!

As soon as they enter your property

One of my old neighbours shot a few cats as they used to keep pigions, and local cats would tend to get into the pigeon hut and kill loads of them... You are acting within the law shooting cats on your property as well.
