Default Any Design Engineers want a job in the Oil Industry

I am looking for at least one and maybe 2 qualified Design Engineers with Autocad experience for our Aberdeen office.
We are a well recognised and innovative Wellhead company (Plexus Ocean Systems , if you want to check the internet) and are thus directly involved in the upstream side of the industry.
I cannot find good quality personnel locally at this time and have decided to attempt to find people via some of the car sites to which I subscribe.
Get in touch with me via private message.

We are desperately searching too!!!

The numbers are out there - but real quality is hard to find ... especially when we are at the very cutting-edge of technology. I have had to stay on well beyond Pension age

Not sure what you are offering, but we cannot get what we want for love nor money we even have the benefits like Non-Contributory Pension Scheme and FlexiTime and 32.5 days leave.

It's a sorry state of affairs - we were let down by the last Tory Government not training in Engineering ...................

If you are a 1st Class Engineer PLEASE, PLEASE contact us ............!!

See you at the Interview!

Pete

Working from home has a slight security risk in my business!!

Flexitime is great though ... it adds 26 days leave per year - that gives 26 + 32.5 = 58.5 days per year leave (when you like too, work requirements noted)

My dad is a first class electronics design engineer (analogue and digital); he was working on satellites in the 60s and on network comms in the army in the early 80s. EMC qualified too. I bet he could earn loads on contract, but he refuses to budge from his current company. they don't generally earn much do they?

Rayli is correct .........

The Engineering spans all disciplines, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.

The place is situated in Aldermaston, Berkshire .... don't look at the maps - it does not appear on any map as it is supposed to be a secret place (but everyone who drives by cannot miss it)!

The job is to design, supply and maintain the UKs Nuclear Warhead Stockpile.

We are DESPERATE for 1st Class Engineers - if you are one, you will walk the interview and into a very nice job doing something that very few people ever get the chance to.

You need to be a UK citizen and completely free of vice - so, if you are so clean that you squeak when you walk - we have just the package for you!!

Would you really want to hire someone off here. People who clearly spend half the day posting threads on Scoobynet rather than working ??

That reminds me. Must get some work done.......................... later

Sounds interesting .It just so happens that I’m a design engineer (1st class some might say )

A multi-disciplined 26 yr old. Currently working for an electronics design company.

Heavily involved with pcb design using Altium Designer. Fully competent using 3D modelling software such as Inventor/Solidworks. Familiar with most rapid prototyping technologies/processes.

These are but a few of my talents.

I’m not looking for a new job, but could be tempted. If you think I may be the sort of person you’re after, feel free to PM me with further info.

(F.A.O stilover : I have less than 100 posts in over 6 months, I can safely say that there are some on here who get plenty done cheers )

No desktop access to the Internet where I work - security issues!!

And if you are found on the Internet Terminal not working then you will be on a disciplinary .... along with being a 1st Class Design Engineer you also have to work without play!!

It's tough - but deliver the goods and the rewards are there, it's no place for the faint hearted ..... no place for people who cry and blubber if you happen to not like their car (for example).

Some people just cannot hack it and leave - being patrolled by armed guards and having searches done on you/car and being behind a triple fence and working on tough stuff is simply too much for a lot ................... we need, and demand, the highest calibre!
