Where to stay in Newquay
Hi all,
I've got a meeting in Cornwall approx 20 miles from Newquay on the Friday leading into the BH weekend and thought I check out newquay Friday and Saturday and maybe even Sunday.
Could anyone recommend a place to stay for sensible money?
I'll be travelling with a mate so seperate room are a must.
Thanks in advance
Esh

Headland hotel is good but not so cheap this time of year.I would not recommend staying too near the town centre at this time of year as it is rammed full of drunk yobs.

Newquay is full of scum and chavs at the moment ............ tattoo wearing, gold dangling, skinheaded, beer-gutted slobs
AND THATS JUST THE WOMEN!!!
If you want to look at the generation that were produced under the Tories just pay a visit!! Absolute disgrace to the human race ......

I'm in Camborne for my meeting which means most of Corncall is accessible.
I want somewhere fairly lively with the ladies but agree that its problaby not the best place to stay.
PSL if I seee your wife I'll through her some coins .
Cheers

Never mind, if you DO see my missus - tell her that I'm sorry
By the way, please don't through her some coins - by all means THROW her some coins though!!
Come to think of it ...... you WILL fit in really well - most of the halfwits walking about there cannot spell or string a sentence together either!!

Perhaps I'll keep the coins and use them towards the cost of improving my spelling.
She can have a bone instead.
Enough now. I'm still after accomodation help go so and play elsewhere.

www.thisiscornwall.co.uk - has an accomodation bit. Try a few B&Bs - if they're full (and quite likely to be over the BH weekend) they will quite likely recommend one of their *mates* in the area. Which is how we got our B&B for the week after next.
Oh, we're staying in perranporth BTW - just down the road. Still full of holidaying chavs but quieter than Newquay. As I was born in c'wall and will be seeing family it's not as bad for me ...

avoid the atlantic like the plague! Its one of the hotels on the cliffs.
We stayed in trevelgue camping one year and everyone got robbed, so next year we went a bit more upmarket!
The staff let themselves into my room with a key and decided to borrow some of my stuff. Lacoste gear, oakley glasses, digital camera etc etc. Left loads of other decent stuff which was odd think they thought it wouldnt be noticed straight away.
I was lucky i decided against hiding my cash in the room and put it in the hotel safe! £12,500 is a bit much to lose!
Its also been on weddings from hell as they wiped out a whole wedding party with serious food poisening...lol
I wouldnt return to Newquay again due to the experiences we had.
