Jenson looked gutted that he was slower than the stig! Ok it was no doubt done on an extremely hot day, so he probably wouldve been faster than the stig if the temp was the same - but Webber wasnt all that much slower in the wet!!

Saw Button on the M4 3 weeks ago in a black 06 DB9 convertible looking very smug! git!

It is an hour long with no adverts - they cant just have 5 group tests of family hatch backs - would be dull as hell!

They need to do some more of those road trips across Europe tho - didnt do any this series, and those are great, and always involve tasty motors!

Do we know who the Stig actually is? I was thinking maybe Stig Blomqvist , but he doesn't look thin enough.

I tried to organise a track day there in March, but was told they were not planning any for the time being due to some kind of planning permission, although they did say to ring back in a few months.

Hmmm, might finally get round to doing that tomorrow!!!

Julian Bailey if he is available, or whichever racing driver is available if not.

'Black' Stig was usually Perry McCarthy.

Did anyone else notice that during Jenson's lap he appeared in two different cars.

One minute he was in an 03 plate Leana and then it was a 53 plate.

Hello

If you missed it, you can watch the whole series online: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctwo/programmes/?id=top_gear

Or go and download the torrents of course.

part of the time difference is the track knowledge, you drive atrack hundreds of time your gonna be quick. 5 laps to lern it is a bit of an ask for anydriver, even f1, how many teest laps do they do for a gp?

tell you what though i'd be interested to see what a rally driver could do
