And not forgetting the Congo..
God what a mess the world is in. Heard on the news that UNICEF reports that 1200 people including 600 children are dieing EVERY DAY in Congo. 4 million dead since 1998.
Putting events in Middle East into perspective isn't the appropriate phrase but it does make you think. And of course the poor sods in Congo don't even have a basic infrastructure to destroy. dl

I am not drinking that Um Bongo stuff any more, must be lethal !
Seriously, the world is a pretty unpleasant place but probably no more that its ever been, the real problem is human nature, greed, intolerance, indifference and just plain evil.

Sounds pretty bad in the Congo then Scary thing is I couldnt even point to it on a map I could probably guess the continent though
Thing is thats whats so bad to me is the media reporting on what suits and not always what is happening...

Just frightening.
And why doesn't the rest of the world give a ****? Nothing to lose, that's why. Exactly the same thing happened in Rwanda.

The massacre in Rwanda at it's height saw indiscriminate slaughter on scale that superceded the German killing of the Jews.
