i know this thread is up there with ,,what colour should i paint the bathroom
and,,, do you like green or red apples ,, but i really cant get flesh off without wasting loads or making a mash

Peel it whole like you would a melon ie take of top and bottom with a sharp knife stand it on end the go from top to bottom and remove the rest of the skin. the stone is a big oval bugger so put the knife about 1inch from the center and try to cut away the flesh if the stone stops you then it's the wrong side so turn it a 1/4 and you sould have the slim side of the stone. do this for both sides then grip the stone and try to remove any left over flesh.

Cut all the way through around the stone and separate into two halves. Pop out the stone and slice through the flesh to the skin in a # pattern like a "O & X's" game. Push the skin so you invert the dome as in the image above and the flesh is easy to get as nice neat chunks.
