Hotels in Sharm....
Looking to book a couple of weeks in sharm in august/september, I know loads of people on here have been there so can you recommend me a hotel. Ideally 4/5 star and I do generally prefer all inclusive.
Regarding the all inclusive are they good value in egypt? I went to kenya and I ate and drank all day, they couldn't give you enough but I know in parts of europe it can be pretty shocking.
All opinions would be much appreciated.
cheers

From the FCO website
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Terrorism
There is a high threat from terrorism in Egypt. Security has been tightened throughout Egypt, especially in resort areas, although the risk of indiscriminate attacks against civilian targets, including places frequented by foreigners, remains. Egyptian security forces continue to carry out counter-terrorist operations in some areas of Sinai. Security authorities may insist on escorting travellers in some areas.
On 26 April 2006, there were two suicide bomb attacks at the Multinational Force and Observers base in north Sinai. There were no further fatalities.
On 24 April 2006, there were three explosions at three separate locations in the resort town of Dahab in the Sinai Peninsular, in which 23 people were killed and more than 60 injured. At least two British nationals were injured in these attacks.

Thanks for comments so far, some good pointers.
The security situation is a bit of a worry, infact stopped me going there last year. I really don't know what to think anymore as terroism and security problems are everywhere. I'm nervous enough using the tube system in this country but I still do
The prices are very attractive and the odds of getting hurt are fairly low IMHO so am sure will probably go there this time.
Anyone got any thoughts as to the quality of the all inclusive hotels?

As for the all inclusive part in the hilton you could have anything you wanted for breakfast american pancakes, cornflakes, full fry up, it was all hot and waiting in the morning the service was brilliant. Ive been on a few all inclusive holidays and this one was the best by far. In Bulgaria i would never recommend going all inclusive the food is cheap enough to buy in restraunts and you know its hot and freshly done where as all inclusive in the hotels mainly cater for the germans its cold and doesnt taste too great but i guess you can get that in any country
Just looking now at the Hilton Sharks Bay, that looks pretty nice.
