Default Slingbox - anyone got one ?

No you cheeky monkeys - not slingbacks..!

Already got plenty of those for the weekend when me and Malcom up the road go down the Pink Flamingo when the wives go out....but I digress..

I've seen it in use and it's pretty good. Not good enough to punt through to a large monitor/tv though.

I've got one!

It's pretty good if you've got a decent (broadband) connection at both ends. Not HD quality (or even close), but watchable.

Very decent quality over a (W)LAN.

I have one, great for setting Sky+ from elsewhere when you've forgotten, and for watching whilst away.

The bandwidth adjusts itself for the connection.

Mine was £130 - got them to price-match their online price.

Found it for £129 on DSG site Dixons - First for new technology at unbeatable web prices on LCD & Plasma TV, Washing Machines and more

Phoned Dixons and they honoured the price - good work Dixons!
