Default "Best Car TV Moments"

Caught this on Sky Three (I think) the other night. Predictably enough Bullitt was No. 1 - Blues Brothers around No.9 and the original Italian Job around No. 5.

Worryingly Grease and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang were in there... I mean OK, technically they had cars in them but.......

Anyone ever seen the original Gone in 60 Seconds? Had something like a 45 minute car chase! Way better from a petrol head view point than the Nicholas Cage remake - though sadly lacking Angelina!

Was very glad to see the re-hash of the Italian Job didn't make it!

Also - can anyone confirm/ deny whether Bullitt was the first ever movie car chase?

I imagine the Keystone Kops have that covered.

The car chases in Ronin are pretty impressive, and also (but to a lesser extent) the chases in The Bourne Identity/Supremacy.
