Hello

Further to my search a little while ago for my birth mother, I am trying to find out who lived at 24 Beech Road, Luton in 1969. I just paid to download the title from the Land Registry assuming it would have all the previous owners, which it didn't unfortunately.

Can anyone help me?

I'm not sure but there is a chance that the deeds show all previous owners. If you could get in touch with the current owners maybe they could have a look for you - I am sure they would be understanding of the circumstances.

Bedfordshire and Luton archives (http://www.bedscc.gov.uk/archive) managed to locate the house and the records for 1969. From there I managed to get a name, and then do a current electoral roll search to find the family (they had an unusual name).

Unfortunately after speaking to them, they don't remember having a lodger or visitor in 1969, so the mystery deepens.
