Default washer dryer:)

ok don't laugh but we are getting white marks on clothes after the dry cycle? i am not sure why this is happening? any ideas it is my first ever washing machine and am a bit of a dummy when it comes to these things as i have never really had to do my own washing before (darn moving out) so any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

p.s. the white marks are chalky in apperance?!

it'll be a build up of powder in the machine

Pull the powder drawer out and give it a clean do the same with what you can see of the feed into the drum

Then you need to run a hot cycle through with no clothes or powder in to flush it out. Basically you aren't rinsing the clothes after the wash cycle in clean water so some residue remains, that's what you can see. You'll notice a difference in the feel of your clothes afterwards

You really should do this once a month or thereabouts

It sounds like you are putting too much in the machine so that the washing powder isnt being washed away properly try only half filling it and if not then it needs a clean out, also dont put your clothes in the dry cycle for too long as it will be harder to iron. I tell customers that if they have a washer/dryer to leave it a bit damp
