Default One for the AV Buffs

TV has one RGB scart that I'm using and 2 non RGB scart that I'm not.

If I want to connect another device that has multiple output (but no scart) via a spare scart, which would give the best result?

Component, S-Video, Composite

Does any of these carry audio or is that seperate?

I'll be using a monster or similar adapter from somewhere like here:http://www.futureshop.co.uk/scart-leads-c-75.html

Ta.

Basically the order you've typed them in is the best order you want to use them. None of these connections carry audio, but scart sockets do.

So I'd have to carry audio seperately through RCA?

If you connect a video camera through S-video, does the sound not come out the telly?

No, you'd need to connect the sound output from the camera to the sound input on the TV in that instance, using the twin phonos

No, any connections other than scart require separate audio connections also

Yellow phono for video, white for audio.

Being used so not an option, got a so called rgb scart switcher and it was rubbish.
Didn't switch widescreen when required even though it was supposed to.

So what should I get then?

Have a look at one of these http://www.js-technology.com/product...5f5bd863435b33

They're held in high regard by the AV guys.

Yeah, so was the Trilogy 3 2in1 I bought. Supposed to do everything that one does but didn't switch widescreen from cable box. Complained and was told cable box was outputing the wrong pin8 voltage.
Funny how it works when connected direct....

Go component, it's the best analogue transmission format on AV gear, then just use RCA phono's for the sound.
