Hayfever
Anyone else suffer from this? It's been particularly bad this week with the nice weather. Not even left the house today and I'm sneezing non stop, eyes are itchy as well as my throat. And that's me been taking Clarityn all week as well

Thank goodness, mine is on the wane now. Whatever it is that stirs it up is obviously over and done with now. I feel for you. Even with drugs, vaseline around the nasal passages and all the other "remedies" there seems to be a peak in the hayfever cycle that just has to be got through with a "grin and bear it" attitude.

I'm absolutely awful in the mornings at the moment. A shower normally helps clear things out.
Given up with main brand allergy tablets - far far too expensive, so save it for really bad days. I normally take some new-era homeopathic ones. Cheap and get shed loads (500). But they do take a hour or so to start kicking in.

Have to crack out the glue+tar remover, otherwise I end up with a sticky mess on the polishing cloth that smears everything when I polish or wax it

Have a look here www.haymax.biz
It's an organic, natural drug-free pollen barrier. Got to be worth a try instead of taking lots of drugs/chemicals.

hayfever is a bit of a **gger - mine has developed into asthma! (luckily only for 3 months -june/july/august - then it's gone!?)
I use Piriton for the sneezes/Otrivine for the eyes/Flixonase for when the nose is bad - rolll on September....................

Fair play to the guys today at Livi who created their little England down at the club, drums and all. Mind you, we've still to see an English player score a goal

thought i'd grown out of it (had a couple of years of not suffering) but last 2 years it's come back
i got some tablets from the quacks called cetirizine (going back a bit now, the date on the box is '02!) they work very well, quick acting and seem to last a couple of days. damn sight cheaper on prescription than getting sting about £4 for about 10

A lot of people seem to be affected by that yellow oil seed rape in the fields but I've noticed there doesn't seem to be as much of it around here this year.

Its the grass season kicking in. 95% of hayfever sufferers are affected by it.
If its stopping you going about your usual routine it may be worth a visit to the docs.
If you get some Loratadine tabs they should help. The doc advised me that I could take upto 3x 'One a day tabs'. Boots do these at the moment on special @ about £7 for 60 - no prescription needed.
Failing that your doc can put you on steroid based tabs which works a treat when all else fails.
Hope it helps
