Home cinema which one
Just got a 42" plasma but the sound is rubbish compared to my Panasonic surround.
So I'm looking for a decent sound set up.
Any recomendations

It's going to depend on just how much money you've got to spend ....

I've got a Yamaha 6.1 amp, and Mission speakers all round, which sound absolutely awesome. Certainly would never need anything louder.
Would definately recommend both brands. Far far better than the Sony stuff I started out with.
Yamaha from aroud £350ish upwards, (for 5.1) Mission Volare from £350, Sub from £300, surrounds from £180 ish.
Again all depends on budget and space. The bigger the area the more power you'll need to fill it.
