Default Recommend me a book please

I'm off to Barcelona and need a couple of good paperbacks I can pick up at the airport. I like lightweight thrillers (e.g. Dan Brown), comedy, biographies (especially motorsport ones)

Any recommendations???

Just reading Bill Bryson's Notes from a Small Country at the moment, and that is quite amusing. For action thrillers I like Clive Cussler - he's written loads!

the only trouble with Clive Cussler books is ( as chhesey as they are ) they are a bit hard to put down.

"are we going to the beach or what?"

"yeah......in a minute............

Ian Rankin - the Rebus novels - excellent holiday reads

Carl Hiaissen - very funny satire about life in Florida - the most wacky books you will ever enjoy so much
