I had a problem with the live pause not working a while ago but this was something to do with the lack of an upgrade. Once the box had upgraded itself as part of the new EPG rollout the problem disappeared. Didn't have a problem with it losing the recorded programs so this might not be the same problem. You could try looking on the Digital Spy forums to see if it's a known problem and how you might go about fixing it.

Hello

Mine did this for a while and then completely stopped working. I suggest you read the forums as mentioned above for some tips. Beware that the most common tip is to do a 'hard reset' as you switch it on but that actually killed mine.

Mine did the same thing and then stopped working all together. I tried the old cancel sky thing, but they were more than happy for me to end my subscription.

So I purchased a new Pace Sky+ 2 (PVR3) Hard Drive Digibox (80GB) 160GB Hard Drive (80GB available to customer) for £142.95 with next day delivery from http://www.simplydigital.co.uk/

Sky wanted £259 for a refurbished lower spec box.......robbin barstewards...

Got ours replaced by Sky after many months of problems. Luckily the probs were reported to Sky and they had logged them. Did a little bit of the bad guy good wifey routine too re cancellation threats and it seemed to work.

TONY ? What happens about your Sky+ subscription when you buy one of those boxes, can you just continue to view thruogh the new box? In case, for future reference.
