Good Bars / Pubs in London
Hi all,
I'm after some unbiased advice as to where to go out in Central London.
First off I'm more into Pubs and Bars so would like peoples opinions of where to go net
I've spent alot of time in:
Barbican / Farringdon
Old Street / Shoreditch
Notting Hill / Bayswater
Leicester Sq
Islington
Docklands (Crap)
Brixton / Kennington / Oval
I'm getting bored of the same old now so your views would be appreciated.
Regards
Esh

Hmmm, good question!
My favourite bars in London, in no particular order, are........
The Lab bar on Old Compton St. Best cocktails in London by a mile, can get a bit packed and therefore quite hot in there, but great place. They also own The Townhouse off Brompton Road. They have a website......

The Match Bar off Cavendish Square and Regent St, nice place, good music, well priced and easy going. The Player in Soho is the same ownership but a bit bigger and flasher. Great cocktails and reasonable food. There's a match in EC1 and near Old St too.
AKA bar above The End on West Central St is a great late bar.
The Hilton bar opposite the Texas Embassay on Traf Sq is great if you like bourbon and whiskey.
I like the Elbow Rooms and a few of the bars on Curtain Road near Old St.
Aura is probably the most "happening" nightclub at the moment, under The Ritz.
