Evolution's data for the cars in the game was supplied direct from the manufacturers themselves.
"Some were very helpful, particularly the UK-based teams like Subaru and Mitsubishi," reveals Kenwright. "One particularly great moment was when Skoda had one of their cars damaged in the Argentinian rally. We made our way over to the damaged motor, then drove it to near-destruction to record sound effects for the game.
That's the kind of level of dedication we're talking about for WRC."

Apparently most of its done - it the handling they were working on. The had an ultra realistic handling mode, but it proved so realistic it was undrivable.
The bloke who's team is developing it has a brilliant track record - think he used to do the stuff for DiD (EF2000 flight sim, etc). He also used to drive a Mitsubishi Evo at one point too, so he can't be bad!
