Default Where to get a blokes neckalce from?

Ok this thread is going to go well off track quickly.

But where on hell would you find 1 apart from ebay and the likes?

And before anyone says it, do not put "male jewelry" or "male necklace" into google!!!

I'm looking for something in silver (hate gold), and maybe hallmarked 1976 (my birth year).

That depends what you call decent!!! Argos and f Hinds are about the only 2 local ones round here, and I'd be more inclined to describe them using a well coined G Ratner phrase

Go to New Bond Street. Or Hatton Garden (but I thought they were more for gold).

Hope I'm right about NBS! It was where I got a pricey watch from, I never noticed whether or not they did necklaces. But there's (antique) jewellers aplenty.

Hatton Garden's better than the Covent variety I reckon. Scores of jewellers.

Although no-one mentioned Covent Garden, did they. I meant New Bond Street... bit flippin dear.

If you want a pearl necklace, I'm guessing there is a certain type of *supplier* for that sort of thing

Judging by the above, the ratio of sensible replies versus utter twaddle is about 1:1.
