Wink

if its manilla phillipines it is really hugh with possibly 12 million people living there making it one of the 6 largest citys in the world

flights take about 5 hours from Singapore or now you can fly direct via doha from manchester/heathrow

try quater airlines for price aprox £500-600 although personally We use sinapore airlines with a nice stopover at sinapore you are looking between 16-19 hours flight time

when you get to mannilla Airport it is a total culture shock at the airport as you step outside when the heat and city smell really hits you

taxis are £3 to city which although 1 mile away can take you up to 2 hours depending on traffic also the taxi driver will take you the long way round and maybe charge you a tenner as you are a walthy foriegner !!!!

watch your lugggage and wallet for pick pockets too.

Get one of the best hotels in the city 5 star for as little as £25 per night for a room ,while cheap hotels are as little as £4 but not recomended

there is at least 7 massive shopping precents the size of the metro or trafford centre with prices 25% of uk prices as remember the average weekly wage is £ 10 per week

Amazing city and the women are smart too

Wink

City smell is smog and exhaust fumes made worse by the excessive heat ten times worse the London

Very cheap for uk tourists with inflation going through the roof

Dont change more the then £30 in this country for taxis etc then take £50 notes clesn no rips and shop around for the best exhchange rte and you can haggle too !!!

san migel lager bottle 23p

; In club 40-50p
eat as much as you can buffet 50p to £1

**** 23p per packet

very poor country with either very rich or povery poor no in between

petrol 54 p per gallon

air flights to other more tourist orientated islands £30

manila is a capital city like london and not really tourist minded apart from the sex industry with women for a fiver all night

you will be hounded by women wanting a date as you are a wealth foreigner /meal ticket out of this country where you need a visa to leave or sponsership of £2-3 k or 6 years salery !!

people aree very friendly and worship the english and no language problems everyone speaks england and newspapers at=re in english too

look out for beggers everyware and be on your guard against muggers when full of booze

great place although Cecu /mactang where i go is a lot nicer and i can get legless for a fiver everynight
