Anyone ever posted an exhaust system?

I've stupidly agreed to send an exhaust to someone and I'm starting to worry now..

Does anyone know of a company that can collect and deliver?

It looks like it's going to be over £50!!

Is it a full system or just a back box?

I have sent a few pieces of exhaust through Royal Mail, my down pipe was also sent to me through Royal Mail and only cost £8
I would see if you can send it that way

Thanks guys.

joey turbo, That's the website I couldn't find again (had a look on there before) Can't see anything about weight or size though?

It's an exhaust for an evo 6 and the pipe from cat to backbox is long and 3" bore so heavy etc, and large backbox as well.

I had them collect an exhaust for me before, although it was for a punto gt. I asked the seller to make sure it was in pieces. and wrapped together side by side to make it look as small as. I've sent a lot over the weight and size no problems. If you are worried, be waiting with a tenner or something for the driver. they soon forget about the size. just make sure its well wrapped.

even if you have to send it as two parcels, it will be around 20quid with the discount. so cheaper than your previous quotes.

I sent a back box and centre section together for around £22, collected from my house and delivered the next day, www.postvan.com/uk,
I always use them and have no complaints
