palmer sport driving experience.
did this day on friday and many thanks to guys on here for recommending it had a blinding day and if anyone is thinking about doing this or is trying to convince their other half/supplier to blag them this day, nag them to death as you'll love it
drew the short straw and went out in the formula palmer single seater first, but just went for it and had a blast
only spin of the day was in the palmer jag (at about 110 mph the instructor said ) and had some great surprises in the nissan 350z and a let down in the porche 911 (maybe was expecting too much!)
overall a bloody great day that is run very professionally and short of a bit more time in the cars, it's as good as it gets
so pleased i was convinced to go for it over a brands hatch day

not cheap mate, £750 for the day. and that was on friday which was the last day before it hits the summer rates.
but trust me, the last thing you think about at the end of the day is the cost

Me too Did it in July last year - fantastic day out. I spun the Palmer Audi, but not the Palmer Jag (christ, those things are quick!). Loved the Clio racers too and the 350Z was a real surprise (I won the 350Z sprint ).
Highly recommended and well worth the money for a top day out.

I got this free through my company a few years ago, and it was (as you rightly say) brilliant.
They had Sti's then, and I came third from forty in the Subaru Sprint
Then I spun an Accord Type R at more than 100
Oh yes, they are nice cars - which is why I swapped my Scoob for one

don't suppose you can drive it quite the same on the road though (or maybe you do )
the sprints are now with caterhams on fooked rear tyres trying to do the doughnut around the last cone was entertaining to say the least
anyone still got their lap times and fancy comparing? this isn't for me to show off by the way as i was consistently average
