Batman Begins is actually alright. Better than I expected.
If you just want cheering up and the mrs is out just get a P orn one. (or it's a wonderfulf life - they show it to patients suffering from depression in hospitals you know).

Cinema: Inside Man was ok-ish. Syriana I liked.
Foreign films any good? If so, a few good DVDs are:
City of God (Brazil)
La Haine (France)
Old Boy (Korea)
They're all a bit violent, although not too extreme in my view.
Napoleon Dynamite is quite good... gentle offbeat comedy.

I cant believe someone actually thought Syriana was worth watching..................the film is all over the place, no real meaning anywhere, boring and totally pointless
Same goes for films like Constant Gardener (of course not mentioned above)- - incredibly boring rubbish - and I like these sort of films
And Walk the Line - Johnny Cash Biopic is ****e as well - The Jamie Foxx one (cant remember the damn title is far better)
Films wise - Kung Fu hustle is still the best film I've seen in a long time. I saw 'Bad Santa' a year ago with Billy Bob Thornton and that is really good.

don't watch anything thats been on at a multiplex. i've not seen anything they've shown thats been worth watching for literally months. crap for the masses/kids. very frustrating.
