Default Crime stable

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4949878.stm

Quarterly crime statistics for England and Wales also showed that drug offences rose 21% and violent crime 1%. Sex crimes were up 3%.

Violence against the person rose by 1% although the most serious category in this class - including homicide and serious wounding - dropped 12%.

Domestic burglary fell by 4% and fraud and forgery by 22%.

So crime is stable

Once again we hear New Labour telling us that 'we've never had it so good.'

Shame the government is in 'meltdown' lol

"Crime stable" = "crime levels still very high, and havent shown any sign of coming down"

Another failure by Labour - wasnt "tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime" one of their slogans???

It should really have read "tough on hardworking tax-payers, tough on the employers of hard-working tax-payers"

Figures released by Charles Clarke MP, Home Secretary - who let out nearly 1000 illegal immigrants who had been convicted of crimes and finished their prison terms. He let out people who, by his own admission should have been deported - amongst them murderers, rapist, child molesters, muggers and robbers. Just the sort of people the UK needs walking the streets and just the sort of problem that causes unrest. I bet the BNP had a bloody great party at the news Charlie boy had screwed the pooch!, oh and that reminds me Fatty Two Jags..............

I feel so much safer knowing he is in charge or our security and on the ball and lets all hope that this latest fau par by Clarkie does not mess up his figures
