from what I can see, alltunes generates it's main page from the allofmp3.com site, so when it first tries to connect to that it cannot.
The site it mentions in the connection settings is downloads.alltunes.com and that is currently up, if you access it in a browser it simply tells you that you don't have access to / on the server, which I'd expect.

I've had a look at that site, might even have an account setup, but I've personally never purchased music from it, though I think there are a few on here who have and said it's ok.
Have to admit the design of allofmp3 is way better.
You could always have a peek on iTunes for the song/album your'e after, or possibly using a torrent site or p2p client, not that I could possibly condone such a thing of course

This article on The Register gives info on what Russian Prosecuters said about allofmp3. The latter part of the article is interesting with regards to them operating within a loophole in Russian law.

OK, so technically it's probably not legal to download from allofmp3 in the UK, or probably any other country but Russia, but I've not heard of anyone being prosecuted for doing so.
